What’s actually set

upc.consent.v1 — Strictly necessary. Remembers your cookie choice, so we don’t ask again every visit. Set by upcopywriting.com (localStorage, not a cookie). Kept until you change it or clear your browser storage.

upc.cart.v1 — Strictly necessary. Keeps what’s in your cart between visits, so it survives a reload. Set by upcopywriting.com (localStorage). Kept until you empty your cart or clear your browser storage.

Order confirmation data — Strictly necessary. Lets the confirmation page show your order once, right after checkout. Set by upcopywriting.com (session storage). Cleared automatically when you close the tab.

_ga, _ga_<container-id> — Analytics. Measures visits and page views in aggregate. Set by Google Analytics 4. Kept up to 14 months (Google’s default).

We don’t use advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies. Language is served from the URL (/ vs /fr/) — no cookie is set to remember it.

Consent and control

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or open "Manage preferences" to choose by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — one click either way. Analytics scripts (Google Analytics 4) don’t load until you’ve actively chosen to allow them. You can change your mind at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
