How we work
Brief. Research. Draft. Revise. Hand over.
Most projects run 5–20 business days, stated per package before you buy.

- 01
Brief
You fill in a structured brief: what the business does, who it’s for, and what’s changing. No discovery call required, though you can ask for one.
- 02
Research
We read your market, your competitors, and your existing copy before writing anything. For website and messaging work, this includes a short messaging map.
- 03
Draft
Full copy delivered together, not piecemeal — so you can review it as one coherent argument, not a trickle of disconnected pages.
- 04
Revision rounds
2 rounds included on every fixed-scope package. Use round one for structural changes, round two for line-level polish.
- 05
Handover
Final copy delivered in your CMS’s format or a plain document, plus a short style note for anything you write yourselves afterward.
Revisions & turnaround
- Fixed-scope packages: 2 revision rounds, usable within 14 days of delivery.
- Retainers (Lifecycle, Executive LinkedIn): 2 revision rounds per monthly cycle.
- Turnaround is stated per package on /pricing/ and each service page — a real number of business days, not "a few weeks."
- Priority turnaround is a purchasable option (+25% of base price) on every package.
- Revision requests after the included rounds are billed at a scoped rate, agreed before starting — never open-ended.
Where AI fits, stated plainly
AI is a research and drafting accelerant we use openly. It is never a substitute for the two things you’re actually paying for: judgment — what to say, and what to leave out — and craft — how it’s said, word by word.
Where it helps: first-pass research and competitor scans, and generating raw option volume for high-volume, short-form work — ad variants, first-draft product-description options — that a person then selects from, rewrites, and is accountable for. Where it doesn’t touch the work: strategic positioning decisions, the final sentence-level pass on every deliverable, and — specifically — French copy. AI-generated or AI-translated French reads exactly as flat and literal as machine translation, which is the failure mode this studio exists to avoid. So it’s excluded outright, not left to chance. We’re saying this instead of staying quiet about it or claiming "100% human, always" — a claim that wouldn’t be a credible description of how research actually gets done in 2026. Every deliverable is read and approved, word by word, by a person before it reaches you.
“AI drafts options. A person decides what stays — and writes every word of French.”
What we need from you
a completed brief, access to your current site or materials if any exist, any existing brand guidelines, and one point of contact who can answer questions during drafting.
“The single biggest delay on any project is waiting on an answer we could have gotten in one email.”
