Revisions & Refunds.

Revision rounds

Fixed-scope packages (Website Copywriting, Landing & Sales Pages, SEO & Blog Content, the Welcome Sequence, Brand Messaging & Voice, and the White Paper) include 2 revision rounds, requested within 14 days of delivery. Retainers (Lifecycle Retainer, Executive LinkedIn Retainer) include 2 revision rounds per monthly billing cycle. The two standalone audits (Copy Audit, Copy Audit Pro) include one round of follow-up questions by email, within 7 days of delivery, in place of iterative revision rounds — see "Cancelling an audit" below. A "round" is all your feedback on a deliverable, submitted together — not one comment at a time over several weeks. Changes requested beyond the included rounds are billed at a scoped rate, agreed before we start.

Cancelling a fixed-scope package

Before kickoff (before we’ve accepted your brief and started research) — full refund. After kickoff, before the first draft is delivered — 50% of the price is retained, to cover the work already done. After the first draft is delivered — no refund; the remaining revision round(s) are still honoured in full.

Cancelling a retainer

Retainers (Lifecycle Retainer, Executive LinkedIn Retainer) can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice to support@upcopywriting.com. The current billing month is not refunded, and deliverables you haven’t used don’t roll over beyond that month.

Cancelling an audit

Copy Audit and Copy Audit Pro are short, standalone diagnostics. Cancel before we start the review for a full refund; once the review has started, the order is final, because the turnaround is short (5–8 business days) and the work begins almost immediately. The one included round of follow-up questions, within 7 days of delivery, still applies regardless.

Your statutory right of withdrawal

If you’re ordering as a consumer (not a registered business) within the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of order under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code. Because our packages involve work that begins quickly, this right ends early if, at your request, we start performing the service before the 14 days are up and it is fully performed before that date — placing an order and asking us to start work immediately counts as this request. Where the service is only partly performed when you withdraw, you’ll owe an amount proportionate to what’s been delivered. This statutory right doesn’t apply to business-to-business orders, which are governed by the Terms of Service instead.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law; the competent courts are those of Lyon.
